The 10th edition in the ‘COGEN World Talks’ series of webinars focused on the use of cogeneration (combined heat and power) or trigeneration (combined cooling, heat and power) technologies to meet the energy needs of data centers, where digital information is stored, amended and retrieved.
The webinar took place on Monday, 4 November 2024.
Participants learned about the contents and conclusions of a new report on The Role of Cogeneration in Data Center Development, which has been specially produced by Challoch Energy for the COGEN World Coalition.
The webinar also featured presentations from leading companies (Clarke Energy, INNIO and Baker Hughes) looking at specific examples of how cogeneration or trigeneration technologies are being used to efficiently, reliably and cost-effectively meet the energy needs of data centers – 365 days per year.
